About Lexi's Legacy
Lexi's Legacy began in August of 2018, when we applied for status as a charitable 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation. Our purpose is to provide urgent medical care to sick and injured dogs in need.
We are a Foundation For Giving. Funds are provided to individual families who cannot afford urgent veterinary care for their dogs. Lexi's Legacy does not provide funds for rescue groups – only for individuals who apply for grants through our website.
While we would like to help every animal who needs assistance, we are limited to offering grants to those families who have the most urgent need. Every year many beloved pets are denied urgent veterinary care because their parents cannot afford the costs. Lexi's Legacy is a lifeline to those families who need help with treatment costs for their sick or injured dogs.
