German Shepherd/Husky Mix,    4   years  old

Diagnosis:   Torn Ligament Right Pelvic Limb

Treatment:  TPLO Surgery

 

Neptune and I have been together since I was 18 years old. I got him as a puppy and I went through the trials and tribulations of being a pet mommy - nutrition, vet visits, training, (he even became an AKC Star puppy!). He helped me through the absolute worst times of my life and I couldn’t be more grateful for his love and loyalty. However, he got diagnosed with a ligament tear and was recommended for a TPLO surgery at 4 years old; I always knew this day would come, with him being a German Shepherd Husky and all, but I didn’t think it would come so soon. I was not financially ready for it. I did what I could and created a GoFundMe and heard about Lexi’s Legacy through a coworker. They were extremely quick in responding and the process was easy and went smoothly. I’m so glad I was able to cover his expenses and he is now resting comfortably at home in recovery!
